Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs & Values

  1. We believe that redemption from sin is through the blood of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God and he accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and, that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. (John 5:39-40; Acts 2:18-36; Romans 3:24-25; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9-10; 1 Peter 1:18-23; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 1:3-5; Revelation 22:17)
  2. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of representative, intercessor, and advocate. (Acts 1:9-10; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25; 9:24; 1 John 2:1-2)
  3. We believe in the High Priesthood of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Great High Priest through which man can approach God.  He ever lives to intercede and mediate for all of God’s children.  (1 Timothy 2:5-6; 1 John 2:1-2; Hebrews 2:17-18; 4:14-16; 7:22-28)

The Bible is the Inspired Word of God
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and divinely inspired Word of God. The scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and, therefore, are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man. The King James Version of the Bible shall be the official translation used by the church.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21, Revelation 22:18-20)

The Godhead
We believe there is one and only one living and true God.  He is an infinite spirit; the maker and supreme ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love.  He is a triune God, eternally existing in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – each co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, coequal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.  (Deuteronomy 4:35; 6:4; Psalm 83:18; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; John 14:10, 26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:7)

The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men. (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-2, 14; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Galatians 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-8)
